We’ll look to pop in the odd photo from time to time - only for fun - so keep coming back.

Well, first thing, Happy New Year 2025 to all …
So I’m delighted to put up a couple of photos of our great MASP Christmas Lunch on Wednesday 11th December, 2024 which was held at the University and Literary Club in Berkeley Square, Clifton.
We started out with drinks at the bar from 12 noon and adjourned for lunch just before 1pm.
Thanks go to our colleague Peter Watts who organised the event in splendid and elegant surroundings and at reasonable cost, too! And of course we were joined by our MASP Keepfit Coach Natasha.
And in the privacy of the club rooms we were able to indulge in a number of entertainment acts provided by Stephen Browne who brought his full sized digital keyboard with him and Robin Goodman who dueted with Stephen on some pieces on his clarinet. Other entertainments were provided by Peter Watts himself, Tony Beckingsale and Mike West.
And we all joined in the singing of seasonal hymns and carols.
A great occasion for sure ... and great to be able to join with some “retired” keep-fitters as well. And everyone I chatted to enjoyed themselves.
So no surprise then that we are booking the same venue for Christmas Lunch in December, 2025 !!
If you were a member of our little MASP Keepfit group perhaps you too could be seated at the table. Why not?
A photo here of a group of MASPers at the Coffee#1 Cafe in Henleaze, after keep-fit, celebrating one of our group’s 10th Anniversary as a member.
That’s right; Richard Sheppard here in the front centre generously treated his MASPer colleagues to coffee and cake at this lovely local cafe to celebrate.
And yes, he’s been coming to the weekly keep-fit sessions regularly for 10 years - I’d say that shows commitment but more than that it’s a testament to the enjoyment, fun and friendship we enjoy.
Coincidentally, we also had a brand new member joining the group on the day. Just fantastic!

Here’s a photo of a group of the “active” Keep-Fitters after class on a Tuesday morning in June, 2023.
A fine body of men - don’t you think? 😉
It’s all good fun, good exercise, good humour.
Natasha who coaches our keep-fit class, not too subtly placed us by her advertising board. She teaches other classes both on location and online (using zoom) for men and for women. Click on the photo to get a larger image to see the details.

Another MASP breakfast on Saturday morning 3rd June, 2023 but this time in the Zest Deli & Cafe in Stoke Lane in Westbury-on-Trym.
There were 13 of us … who might just have got up a little bit earlier than normal on a Saturday to enjoy breakfast with MASP friends.
A few of the “retired” MASP Keep-Fitters joined us in the pursuit of a hearty breakfast and chummy chat and conversation.
I must say the Zest Cafe was far more roomy and could obviously accommodate more of us - should the need be there, in the future.
After the breakfast Arthur read a little piece concerning the “Joys and Benefits of Eating Breakfast with Friends” - appropriate don’t you think? Little did our group know, until told, that the piece was actually generated using AI (Artificial Intelligence) - a topic that’s all the buzz these days and which caused much amusement and curiosity.
Just a few of us made it to the Christmas Lunch - I suppose because it was arranged so close to Christmas many had left Bristol to be with family, grandkids or elsewhere.
But nonetheless for that, we had a great time with an excellent lunch at Henbury Golf Club (Bristol) that included festive Turkey and Christmas pud but of course other choices were available.
You’ll notice the crackers and the silly hats … and I got a handy bottle opener in my cracker … just the thing for the busy Christmas period!
And we were delighted to welcome Natasha our keep-fit coach and also David who substitutes from time to time.
And finally, after lunch, Mike West, Peter Watts, Tony Beckingsale and Arthur Noonan contributed amusements in the form of song, recitation and joke telling - but enough said about that!! 😂
Merry Christmastime and a Happy New Year, 2023 everyone!!
It’s the 13th of December, 2022 and the last keep-fit session before the break for Christmas and all the boys were encouraged to wear their most outrageous Christmas tops and festive items.
And some did join in the fun and well done to them!

So Happy Christmas to you all and to any visitors to the website.
Have a joyous Christmas celebration with family and friends and see you on the other side, in January, 2023!!
Group photo taken today (Tue 23Aug22) after our MASP keep-fit class with David Fricker (front-L) substituting for our regular coach Natasha who was on holidays. And David’s “apprentice” Michal Kwasniak (front-R), all the way from Poland - doing some practical Keep-Fit training with David.
Both trainers also joined in our fun ball-games session at the end of our workout !!
